These terms and conditions apply to all purchases you make from OurMediaShop.com. They explain how we provide products to you and outline what you can expect when placing an order with us. Please take a moment to read through them before you submit your order.
Please note that we have updated our terms and conditions from 21 September 2026.
If you purchased a product from Our Media Shop on or before the 21 September 2026, the terms and conditions that applied when you placed your order will continue to apply. You can find those terms here.
If you have a Subscription which renews automatically after the 21 September 2026, your renewed Subscription will be subject to the new Terms and Conditions set out below from the date of renewal. We will let you know in advance if this applies to you.
1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us
OurMediaShop.com is owned and operated by Our Media Limited (referred to in these terms as "Our Media" “We” “Us”). We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 05715415. Our registered office is located at Eagle House, Colston Avenue, Bristol, BS1 4ST.
If you have any questions about these terms and conditions or need any help, please get in touch with us.
You can also visit our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section, where you may find quick answers to common questions.
2. Definitions
In these terms, when we say "Subscription" we mean an arrangement with Our Media where you pay in advance to receive a product or service on a regular basis. A Subscription can be:
Print Subscription: A printed magazine delivered to your home.
We also use the following terms:
3. Placing an order with us
By placing an order on our website; you confirm that:
Our contract with you is only accepted once:
We do not have to accept your order. If we cannot process your order, we will let you know by email and you will not be charged. This might happen, for example, if the product is out of stock, there is an error in the price or description, a product is no longer available, we believe the order has been placed by a reseller, or we can't meet your requested delivery deadline.
4. Auto-renewing Subscriptions
If you buy a Subscription that auto-renews (as shown at checkout), it will continue until you cancel. At the end of each subscription period, we will automatically take payment for each renewal using the payment method you selected when you signed up. Before you complete your purchase, we will clearly show you: how often your Subscription renews, for example monthly, yearly or on another stated basis, what the renewal price will be, and when your first and renewal payments will be taken. We will also send you a reminder before your Subscription renews. This will include; the renewal date, the renewal price, and how to cancel if you do not wish to continue.
If you want to stop your Subscription from renewing, see Cancelling an auto-renewing Subscription below for details.
Please note that auto-renewing Subscriptions will be subject to the latest version of our terms and conditions available on our website at that time. If you do not agree to the terms that apply at renewal, you can choose to cancel before the renewal takes place.
Please note we may update our reminders and cancellation processes to comply with any future UK subscription‑contract legislation. We will notify you of any changes in advance.
5. Payment
We accept payment by Direct Debit, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Please note, Direct debit is only available if both your billing address and delivery address are in the UK. If you pay by Direct Debit, you are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
6. Prices, offers and pricing errors
The prices of products on Our Media Shop may change from time to time. However, any price change will not affect an order we have already accepted. We may also change, suspend or withdraw a product or promotional offer at any time before we accept your order.
Unless we say otherwise, any Subscription discount or saving is based on the full cover price of the magazine.
We take reasonable care to make sure the prices shown on our website are correct, but mistakes can sometimes happen. If the correct price of a product on the date of your order is lower than the price shown to you, we will charge you the lower price. If the correct price is higher than the price shown to you, we will contact you before accepting your order to ask whether you still want to go ahead at the correct price. If you do not confirm, we will not accept your order.
Delivery costs: If delivery costs apply, we’ll show them clearly on our website before you place your order.
Issue frequency: Our magazine titles are published at different frequencies, and most publish 13 issues per year. Your issue-based payments cover all issues published during each subscription year for your chosen title, regardless of the number of issues released in that period. If the number or timing of issues changes, we will notify you in advance where required, and your subscription will continue to include all issues published for your chosen title during your subscription term.
7. Delivery and access to your products
8. If there is a delivery issue
Sometimes delivery may be delayed because of events outside our control, such as severe weather, natural disasters or wider international disruption. If this happens, we’ll post updates on our website and do what we reasonably can to reduce the impact. We may not be able to email each affected customer individually, so please check our Contact Us page website for updates.
If no one is available at your address to take delivery and the goods cannot be posted through your letterbox or left in a nominated safe place, we will leave a note telling you how to rearrange delivery or collect the goods from a local delivery depot. Redelivery is only available for certain deliveries and may not be available outside the UK.
If, after an unsuccessful delivery attempt, you do not rearrange delivery or collect the goods from the delivery depot, we may contact you for further instructions and may charge you for any reasonable storage costs and further delivery costs we incur. If, despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you or rearrange delivery or collection, we may end the contract in accordance with the When we can end the contract section of these terms.
You have rights if we deliver products late. If we miss the delivery deadline for any products, you may treat the contract as ended immediately if any of the following applies:
(a) we have refused to deliver the products;
(b) delivery by the delivery deadline was essential, taking into account all relevant circumstances; or
(c) before we accepted your order, you told us that delivery by the delivery deadline was essential.
9. Information we need from you:
We may need certain information from you to provide your products, such as your current postal address. If we do, this will be explained in the product description on our website, and we may contact you to ask for it.
If you do not provide this information within a reasonable time, if the information you give us is incomplete or incorrect, or if you do not keep it up to date (for example, if you move house and do not tell us your new address), we may either:
(a) end the contract in line with the When we can end the contract section of these terms; or
(b) charge you a reasonable amount to cover any extra work we have to carry out as a result.
We are not responsible for any delay in providing your products, or for being unable to provide part of them, if this happens because you did not give us the information we needed within a reasonable time after we asked for it.
10. Subscription Gifts
If your subscription includes a gift, please allow up to 28 days from the date we receive payment for it to arrive. Gifts are sent separately from your magazine subscription and can only be delivered to addresses in Mainland UK. If you buy a subscription for someone else, the gift will be sent to the delivery address you provided for that person.
We may replace the advertised gift with one of equal or greater value unless otherwise stated. For offers with a limited number of gifts, no additional gifts will be provided once the limit is reached. Be sure to check the specific terms of the offer when placing your order. Any Subscription discounts still apply.
Gifts are only available on selected new Subscription offers, as stated at checkout. For the purposes of a Gift offer, you will be treated as a new customer only if you have not had a subscription to the same magazine within the previous 3 months. If we determine that you have had a subscription to the same magazine during that 3-month period, we may cancel the Gift. No refund, credit or cash alternative will be given in respect of any cancelled Gift.
We reserve the right to end any Gift promotion at any time.
